Our Story
Our Story
Our parent organization is a 110 years old education institution based at Nagpur, Maharashtra named, Somalwar Education Society. We celebrated our centenary year in the august presence of late Shri APJ Abdul Kalam, ex-president, Government of India. We are one of the pioneers of school education system in Maharashtra and currently running 7 branches of schools and 1 senior college with total student strength of over 12000. Our alumni are holding key positions across the globe in private and government sectors. With a view to propagate premium educational practices inherited from the parent body for the benefit of society at large, CA Rohit Somalwar established Nikalas Foundation in the year 2021. The ultimate aim to develop creators for young India from the underserviced part of India.

'Anubhav'
Transforming School Education
Anubhav is a flagship program of Nikalas Foundation. It represents 'Anubhavatmak Shiksha' or 'Experiential Learning'. It is a program that inculcates culture of application based learning in school education system by motivating every participating child to practically apply the concepts learnt in schools. The program is designed based on our experience of nurturing talent since a century now, recommendations of National Education Policy 2020, Nipun Bharat Mission and the learning outcomes spelled out in National Achievement Survey (NAS).
The program employs specially designed kits precisely mapped with grade specific curriculum of Science and Mathematics. The kits are powerful teaching and learning aid that improves the learning outcome of each session in the class remarkably.
The implementation of 'Anubhav' starts with a detailed training of teachers on experiential learning pedagogy followed by implementation of kits in day to day teaching learning process. The program is concluded with an impact assessment. Team Nikalas Foundation is available throughout the implementation for on-time query resolution.
